Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Correctly read and interpret shop orders for correct paint color and options
• Utilize airless and/or conventional spray equipment for application of paints lacquers or enamels to metal surface where medium quality finish is required; ensure work assignments pass process checks and final inspection
• Maintain and keep equipment and area in a safe clean condition and working order
• Utilize automated or manual monorail for moving product in and out of paint booth
• Clean and maintain on a daily basis equipment used in the paint booth
• Utilize hoist cranes and lift tables
• Prepare surfaces for painting as required by cleaning or other methods as required
• Comply with all company environmental policy
• May do masking and two-toning and operate drying equipment
• Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.
• Protect Chamberlain Groups and Systems reputation by keeping information confidential.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops reading professional publications establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies.
• Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• No minimum education required
• No prior experience required
• Must adhere to all safety rules and requirements including proper use and fit of respirators and other personal protective equipment. This may include maintaining a clean-shaven face at all times due to OSHA regulations
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds
• Ability to stand walk and sit up
• Ability to use hand to finger handle and feel
• Ability to climb and balance
• Ability to stoop kneel bend crouch and crawl
• Ability to reach with hands and arms
• Ability to see talk and hear

The pay range for this position is $19.04 - $29.06/hr. Base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including but not limited to the position offered location education training and/or addition to base pay also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). This position is eligible for participation in a short-term incentive plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
